GBAOHN is financially viable at this time
There were 6 Educational
sessions for year 2004:
1. Annual meeting 1/04 was on Update on TB skin testing
2. March meeting combined with North of Boston Chapter was with
AAOHN President ex-offico Deborah DiBenedetto on bench marketing
3. May meeting was on Utilization review presented by the Department
of Industrial Accidents
4. September meeting was on Ergonomics and presented by Dr. Alan
Hedge of Cornell University, NY
5. November meeting was on medical Surveillance with Dr. Sandra
Strafford
6. Repeat Program on TB skin testing update presented at Jordan
Hospital in Plymouth. This was an effort to reach out to our members
from south shore.
AWARDS: We have
presented 2 awards this year
Our third Audrey Braithwaite award was presented in Jan 2004 to
Penny-Allyson Clark
Our excellence Award is being proudly presented today to a well
deserving recipient Ms.
Carol Somers.

Our Community Outreach Program has been developed by Barbara Roller and I am pleased to say that we are making efforts to continue outreaching to help those in the communities in need.
This is my last year as President Our election ballots have gone out and we will have a new president and vice president as of January. I thank you all the members for trusting me with the office of president for the last four years. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve the membership of GBAOHN. As of April 2005 I will be serving as BOD on AAOHN. I also thank the membership for this important privilege.
