Elections:
The ballot has been sent out for the election of new officers and Board members for the 2006 – 2008 term of office. Ballot returns must be postmarked not later than Friday, December 24th. The positions open are Secretary, Treasurer, 3 Board of Director positions and 2 Nominating Committee members.
Board Meetings:
There were 8 Board meetings this year, including the Annual Meeting.

GBAOHN offered four education programs this year.

Planned educational programs include:
NIMS 700 (National Incident Management System) training and preparation for FEMA certification. January 30, 2006 at the Chateau in Waltham.
Budgeting Made Easy. March 20, 2006 at Jimbo’s in Braintree.

Audrey Braithwaite Award 2005 to be announced
The Audrey Braithwaite Award was established by the Greater Boston Association of Occupational Health Nurses (GBAOHN) to commemorate Audrey's work on the Association's behalf. It is presented annually to one member of GBAOHN in recognition of exceptional mentorship and service to our Occupational Health Nursing Community. The Board extends an invitation to its members to submit nominations for this award. The criterion for the award is exceptional service to the GBAOHN. The winner will be presented the Audrey Braithwaite Award for Exceptional Service at the January 2006 Annual meeting.
Community Outreach:
GBAOHN members participated in raffles at the Education Meetings. The proceeds were sent to two charities: Soldiers’ Angels and the Salvation Army.
